Sales in Motion Team of Business Instructors

sales in motion business instructorAlex Sim is the leader at Sales In Motion.  He currently teaches Sales Management, Inside Sales, and Professional Sales 1 at the British Columbia Institute School of Business.  He also provides sales management direction, and consulting services to a variety of  firms in Metro Vancouver. He has taught sales and sales management skills to over 3,200 start-up entrepreneurs at the Douglas College Self Employment Program, over a 14 year period, ending in March 2012.  Alex was also involved in numerous speaking engagements on the subject of sales and sales communication skills to the recreational vehicle and automotive industries, to local Board of Trade and Chamber of Commerce locations, as well as in a volunteer capacity within other College departments.  He is passionate about the art of selling and even more passionate about training managers in Planning, Organizing, Forecasting, Account Relationships, Recruiting & Selection, Training Salespeople, Motivating Salespeople, and Reviewing & Evaluation of Sales Performance.

Sales in Motion Finance lecturer

A CPA – CGA,  Shirley Shannon teaches  courses on Finance,  Accounting, and Cash Flow ManagementCash is king, and many profitable businesses have failed due to a lack of cash this aspect of business shows how extremely important financial management is to a business.   Shirley has been instrumental in the founding, operations and  sales of several businesses including software publishing, an arts and gifts retail store, and import/distribution. These hands-on experiences have honed her skills in sales, marketing, logistics and finance.  Shirley  was a Business Advisor at the very successful Douglas College Self Employment Program, mentoring and coaching new entrepreneurs.  She  is also a Quickbooks and Simply Accounting advisor.

Max Attwood has over 3o years experience as an entrepreneur, trainer and consultant in the sales and marketing field. He established and operated an advertising and display agency, serving the travel, real estate and automotive industries. Max’s endeavors include a real estate development and architectural design company, and an import/export agency in the automotive field.  As a seminar facilitator for corporate business skills training at several Self Employment Programs, he enjoys the role of mentor to his clients, passing on his experience and entrepreneurial secrets to hundreds of business owners each year, as they as launch their start-up enterprises. Max has joined Sales In Motion as a senior consultant, specializing in sales and marketing
